O Allah, bestow blessing and peace upon the fountain of mercy and Lordliness, and the veritable sapphire that encircles the center of the faculties of comprehension and the meanings,
and the light of all created entities, the human being, the owner of the Lordly truth, the brightest flash of lightning in the rain clouds of the winds that fill every channel from the oceans, and the water vessels,And your shining light, with which You have filled Your universe, which encompasses all the places of habitation

O Allah, bestow blessing and peace upon the source of the truth, from which the thrones of the realities have been revealed, the source of mystical intuitions, the most righteous, Your perfect path

O Allah, bestow blessing and peace upon the countenance of the truth with the truth, the most splendid treasure, Your showering of blessing from You to You, the embrace of the magical light
Allah bless him and his family, with a blessing by which You will make us well acquanted with him.

There is good reason for its inclusion among the invocation of blessing upon Allah's Messenger since it is distinguished by qualities possessed by none of the other invocation of blessing.
According to the author of al Kawkab al Wahhaj of Qadi Sidi Ahmad Sukharij: "You should know that this noble invocation of blessing is equal in content to all the wells of esoteric knowledge and secrets."
Our master Shaykh Tijani received it by word of mouth from the venerable Chieftan of Existance(Allah bless him and give him peace). He told him about some of its excellent merits, including that referred to previously by the author when he said: "If someone recites the Jewel (al Jawhara) twelve times, while fulfilling its preconditions, and he intends to visit the Messenger, he will be granted the special favor of obtaining the benefit of visiting all the saints....."
Its fundamental importance is explained by our master's saying (Shaykh Tijani): "Allah's Messenger gave me an invocation of blessing called the Jewel of Perfection "Jawhara Kamal". If someone recites it twelve times and says 'This is a gift from me to you, O Messenger of Allah', it is as if he has visited him in his noble garden, and as if he has visited the saints of Allah and the righteous, from the beginning of existence until his own time-- in one version: 'until eternity'. One of its special qualities is that a single recitation of it is equal to the tasbih recited three times by the whole universe.

Another is that, if someone makes a regular practise of reciting it more than seven times each day, the Prophet(Allah bless him and give him peace) will love him with a special affection, and he will not die until he becomes a wali. Another is that, if someone recites it seven times or more, the Prophet and the four Caliphs will be in his presence, as long he remembers it."

When one of the scholars came to hear about this, he being one of Shaykh Tijani's companions, he wished to confirm its reality, so he approached Shaykh Tijani and mentioned what he had heard. Shaykh Tijani told him "By Allah, if you were to remember it constantly throughout your life, without any intermission, the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) would never separate himself from you in the whole course of your life......"

"The above mentioned presence will be that of their spirits and their persons, in reality. If the veil is removed from those who practise remembrance, or from some of them, they will surely witness the Prophet in the shape he was in when Allah took him away from this world, and likewise the four Caliphs (may Allah be well pleased with them). The Prophet and the Caliphs will be witnessed time after time.

"Another of it special qualities is that, if someone diligently persists in reciting it seven times before going to sleep, in a state of perfect ritual purity and on a clean bed, he will see the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace)...... That is sufficient for you as an excellant benefit, worthy of any expenditure on the part of the noble souls, for the Prophet is reported as having said:

One of you would dearly love to see me,
even at the cost of everything in his possession!

-and in the words of a poet:
If only He would favor me with the sight of a face--
a face that relieves everyone who sees it of distress

from the Kashf Albas of Sahibal Fayda Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse

As Salaam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah.

Al Hamdulillah for your entry into this Ahmadi-Muhammadi-Ibrahimi-Tijani path. The tariqa of later times. If one is not around any of the brothers of the tariqa, then you must recite the wazifa silently. Only when in Jumat is the wazifa to be recited loudly. The wazifa is attended by the Holy Prophet (may peace and prayers always be on him) His four Khulufa and also Shaykh Ahmad Tijani.

There is one story in Fes during the time of Sidina Shaykh Tijani when certain people did not believe him about this feat of being present during the wazifa. They asked him how can you be present at a wazifa wherever it is recited amongst the Tijani brothren. He answered that Allah has already solved that issue. They asked him what if a wazifa is being done in the East, while another is in the South, while another is in another place what then?
He answered that Allah has already solved that for him. So the micheavous group decided to test him. Seven of them all invited Shaykh Ahmad Tijani to lunch after Zhur salat. Each of them went to him and asked for him to come to his house for lunch, and he accepted.

After Zhur, after lunch time each of the seven men gathered to see which one of them was blessed with the arrival of Shaykh Tijani at his house for the lunch. One man began by saying Shaykh Tijani came to his house and ate lunch. While another man said thats not possible because he was at my house. Another said, No he was at my house. So it turns out that each individual did indeed receive Shaykh Tijani at his house for lunch.
This is one of the fadila of this tariqa. Is that the mureeds of this path are blessed with the companionship of The Holy Prophet, His four Khulafa, and Shaykh Tijani during the wazifa.
The people of Fat'h (Opening) of the tariqa are known to see him and his companions during this wazifa. it should also be known that this is one of the only (if not then few) of the turuq in which it is a obligation of the mureeds if they are in Jumat to have group zikr EVERY DAY.

Another story is that one Shaykh of Mauritania who was of the Qadiri tariqa, had a dream in which he saw the Prophet and his four companions (khulufa) traveling and stopping at his village. The Holy Prophet asked him to prepare an area for him and his companions to do zikr. They then did a group zikr and he awoke. The next day Sidi Mawlud Fall (one of the khalifas of Shaykh Tijani in Mauritania) arrived from traveling and stopped at his village. Sidi Mawlud Fall and his companions then set up tents and an area for zikr and then did the wazifa. The Qadiri Shaykh then noticed that this was the same zikr that he saw the Prophet and His companions doing in his dream the night before. After seeing this he then took the Tijani Tariqa.
This dream was a proof of the Holy Prophet's statement to Shaykh Tijani in daylight vision "Your fuqara are my fuqara, your companions are my companions, your disciples are my disciples, you are my loved one and whoever loves you is my loved one, and whoever takes your wird is free of the Fire and he die only a Wali of Allah."

I do know of some brothers in Colorado. As soon as I get their contact I will inform you.

Your brother in Islam, Iman, and Ihsan

Muhammad Hasan at-Tijani

Salaam Alaikum Sidi,

There is no ejaza needed for Salat al Fatihi for it is allowed to read any Sala Ala Nabi.

But to receive the full blessing of it, in all its rewards and blessing one must receive the wird from a Tijani muqaddam, and take the spiiritual path from him.

Are requesting to take the path?
