Eid In The Square is a unique cultural event celebrating Eid ul-Fitr, the Islamic holiday marking the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting. Every year, over one million Muslims in London celebrate Eid ul-Fitr, which literally means ‘breaking of fast’, with celebrations that bring communities, families and friends together.
The Mayor of London in association with the MCB London Affairs Committee invite you to celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid ul-Fitr, which for the first time will be held on Trafalgar Square.

The event will be free to the public and will include live entertainment from the mainstage. Visitors at the festival can also explore the delights of a street bazaar and learn more about Islam by browsing through the various exhibitions and displays on the day.
