al-Salamu alaykum wa rahmatu-Llah.
I remember that some years ago I read a statement from sidi Hajj 'Umar al-Futi, stating that if the people of Badr have seen him, they thought he was one of them. If it is correct, does someone know where can I find this statement?

wa'l-salamu alaykum,
Talib.

As Salaam Alaikum Sidi Talib,

"On the day of Judgement the people of Badr will know that they left comrades behind"

This statement of Shaykh Umar is in NO way saying that he was one of them.

He is saying that after the people of Badr there are still real men who Jihad fi Sibilallah. And there are people like himself who are ready to give their lives for the sake of Allah, His Prophet, and Islam.

Many thanks, sidi Tijanimurid (for the answer and for the correction Razz).
If it isn't a disturb, I have another question: where can I find this statement? It is in the Rimah?

wa's-Salamu alaykum,
Talib.
