Synopsis
‘None of you truly believes until I am dearer to him than his ownself, his children, his parents and all people.’ (Al Bukhari and Muslim)

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came to perfect good character. His character (peace be upon him) is undoubtedly the best of all characters and is the perfect example we are all obliged to love and follow. This course provides students an opportunity to discover the true character and personality of the Prophet (peace be upon him) with an aim to increase our love and a desire to emulate his way (Peace be upon him)

Objectives:
By the end of the course students will be able to;
• Outline the main distinguishing characteristics of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
• State examples from the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) of his good conduct and manners.
• Realise the influence and effects of the character of the Prophet (peace be upon him) on his companions and followers.
• Recognise the individual duty and obedience owed to the Prophet (peace be upon him).
• Know how to improve personal character.

• Definition of Ash-Shamail
• Virtues of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
• Obedience to the Prophet (peace be upon him)
• Love for the Prophet (peace be upon him)
• Practical ways to emulate the example of the Prophet (peace be upon him)

Anyone wanting to improve personal character by following the example of the prophet muhammad (peace be upon him) and develop a deeper love for our ideal role model.
