About the Speaker

Shaykh Ahmed Abu Bakr has actively been involved in dawah in the UK since the 70s. He is currently the Imam of Yusuf Islam’s Islamia Schools Centre. He studied the Islamic Sciences in Sudan under Shaykh Fatih Qaribullah (rh) son of Sayiddi Shaykh Qaribullah (rh) son of the Great Shaykh Ahmed at-Tayyib (rh). Shaykh Babikr (sometimes known as Shaykh Ahmed AbuBakr) continues his dawah circle every week in London, which began in Regents Street Mosque and now takes place in Cricklewood closer to his residence.

Directions to venue:

Churchill Place is the new mall to the east of the estate, at the foot of the Barclays tower. Follow the signs from inside the main mall outside Waitrose, or use the lift opposite the Barclays tower. .
