Salaam to u all ! as u can see im a new member and this is my first post , Inshallah i will learn alot from this site, and ths could be the begiing of a spiritual journey !

before i ask my question i would just like to say until about 8-9 months ago i didnt realise the importance of having a sheikh, until i started talking to a mureed of the great sheikh Hazrat Sufi Muhammad Aslam Sahib Naqshbandi (Rahmatulla Alai) and ever since then i have been in search for a shiekh , i have done alot of reading over the internet and talked to people about how to go about finding a sheikh, and then i was told "its not u who finds ur sheikh but rather its ur sheikh that finds you" so i pray that ALLAH SWT sends my sheikh to me very soon.

anyway after browsing the net about saints and walis of our time i came across a webiste where i seen a photo of a saint by the name of sheikh nazim haqqani and since that day i feel my heart attracting to them, just by looking at there blessed face is enough to convince me they are a true wali Allah, and ever since i have spent hours and hours reading about them, the more i read about them, the more i feel i am getting closer to them , there looks, there books, the way they live and what they hav done is has the signs of a true wali ALLAH,

i am longing to meet them

i feel i am 99.999% there but what would be realy appreciated if the mureeds of the great sheikh would share with me some of there experinces they have had in there life since doing bait with sheikh Nazim Haqqani , experiences in day to day life, or visions an dreams, e.t.c it will mean alot to me,

im not a mureed of Sheikh Nazim, but i want to go and get initiated. in fact i might be booking the flight today. so ive got nothing fantastic to say, rather a practical matter. Aithough, i can relate what some mureeds have told me about meeting Sheikh, like they were 'blown away', and one wept for a week. lol

my concern is the price of getting to cyprus (erkan), it's alot, around 300 pounds (from london). is that what i should be expecting to pay or does anyone think i could get cheaper?

lucky u , INSHALLAH i will meet them soon, and take bayah, u might get it a little cheaper if u shop around, but main thing is getting there and seeing them, please do tell them to do dua for me , and also let me know about ur trip an how it was,

salams as being a mureed of maulana i feel really great and mashallah when i went cyprus and when u experience the presence of maullana u feel somit special they are a true wali as many things they say are so true and well what more can i say. a tariqah bro with a golden chain and without the golden chain being broken tells u alot if u get what i mean

Alhamdulillah "Guest" your Sheikh has found you.by looking at his picture the feeling that you felt was the feeling when Sheikh Nazim was working on ur heart.not everyone gets that special feeling.Alhamdulillah u have a clean heart and surely ur connection with Sheikh Nazim is increasing by the day.i know some people who fely that attraction at some naqshbandi thikrs and some people by just looking at Maulana Sheikh Nazims picture.pls make dua that ALLAH increases our Sheikh's life and keeps him healthy.Ameen

I suggest you listen to lectures from Shaykh Nazim al haqqani (hafidullah) yourself to see what he is teaching. The most important thing is to see if ones sheikh is in line with the sunnah. Shaykh Nazim al-haqqani (hafidullah) is one of those who hold tight to the rope of Allah. You can go to
