Assalamu 'Aleykum

Dear brothers,
I'm new to the Tariqa Tijaniyya and I fear I broke the pact with my shaykh.
Before going to renew the pact, or asking my shaykh if what happened really broke the pact, i would ask you the same question.

Is possible that a murmur which says literally "I don't believe", but which has no real counterpart in the heart, brokes the love between the murid an the Shaykh (rAa)?

Thanks for your answers

Wassalam

Wa Alaykum Assalaam Sidi,

Once you take the Tariqah you are mureed of Shaykh Ahmad Tijani (RA) and nothing or no one can break it.

Shaykhs and Muqaddams are like Fathers, no matter how bad the child is they always forgive.

Besides it depends on your intention, if nothing bad intended it happened unintentionally then its ok.. otherwise pray two rakahs of salatul tawbah and ask Allah for forgiveness. if this even doesnt satisfy you then you can go on and renew the Tariqah with the Ijaza of your Shaykh.

hope this helps

wassalaam

Jazaka Allah khayran fi'ddunya wa'l-akhira!

I'll do what you suggest. It happened unintentionally, while i was invoking the presence of our beloved Shaykh(rAa) and praising His high station.
May Allah prevent all of us from interrupting the love for Allah (swt) for Sayydina Muhammad (sAaws) and Sidi Ahmad Tijani (rAa).

Dear brother sidi Ndin, I think this is a waswasa from shaytan, and this happened to me also soon after I took the bay'a.

Listen the advice of brother mntijani and don't listen the devil's whisper Wink.

salamu alaykum,
Talib

Dear brother Talib,
jazaka Allah for your suggestion. I'll listen only to my brothers and shaykh. May Allah guide us to His Right Path, following His Noble Beloved (asws) and the Perfect Inheritor (rAa).
