Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu dear brothers and sisters,
May this message reach you all in the best of Imaan, health, happiness and peace, Insha'Allah.
Please forgive me I posted this message recently on the wrong topic so have started a new topic Insha'Allah.
We hope you can help us Insha'Allah, we are very new to the Naqshbandi Haqqani Tariqah and took Bayat very recently. We would be very grateful if anyone can tell us what Mawlana Shaykh Nazim has said about praying behind a salafi / wahhabi? what should one do if they are being led during daily prayers or if the only mosque they can go to for Jummah is a salafi mosque?
We would be very grateful for your feedback, especially also if anyone has spoken about this matter with Shaykh Abdul Hameed? as we really need to know what to do,
Jazaka'Allah khair
your sister |

Salaam Sidi,
I have put the same question to my Shaykh Hassan Cisse, who is a knower of Allah and also an Alim of the Sharia. In the basic sence, one should try as much as possible to pray behind someone who is agreement with sound aqeedah.
But also remember that "Every action will be judged by one's intention".
Shaykh Hassan once told me "In reality the Prophet Muhammad is always in our vision the Imam" "When you go to Mecca for Umrah or Hajj, most likely you are praying behind a Salafi/Wahabi," "but you still pray, hoping through the mercy of Allah that your prayers are accepted, because every action is judged by its intention".

Wa 'alaykum as-salam bro,
I am the user "formerly known as Saeed Bak". My user name is now "Said".
I am not in the naqshbandi tariqa but am looking into it and it looks like where I am headed - praying istikhara...
You can give the brother my contact info, so we might share what we have found inshaAllah: said.bak AT gmail.com
As of now I have not encountered any naqshbandi haqqanis in Denmark. _________________ Said |
