as-Salaamu alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu....does anyone have proof that Shaykh Ahmad Tijani(r.a.) used al-Faatihat in his wird ul lazim?

As Salaam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

It is seen throughout the Jawahir al Ma'ani, the Rimah of Shaykh Umar, and the Kashf Albas of Shaykh Ibrahim showing the explanation of the wird, they show firstly the first of of seeking refuge from Shaytan, then the Bismalla, and the Fatiha, the the awrad.

As it is known with any prayer, with any supplication, with any dua, that it is known without say in detail that everything is opened with Bismillah and the Fatiha.

For this is the proper way of opening any prayer, whether formal or informal.
