assalamu alaikum
me again. just to explain why i ask about Shadhila in uk: ive been reading Guenon alot lately, plus Schuon and Lings, and thats why im interested in the Shadhila, since wasnt Schuon representative for Europe?
i know of the Naqshbandi presence in uk and have made contact there, but was just asking about Shadhila out of curiosity really... |

There is a Shadhili tariqah in the UK, Sh Nuh Keller who is a Shadhili Shaykh has many mureeds in the UK, as does Sh Muhammed Al Yaqoubi. The Shaykhs are not based in the UK though, Sh Nuh Keller is based in Amman in Jordan and Sh Muhammed Al Yaqoubi in based in Damascus Syria.

Salaam Haroon i'll inshallah ask your questions one at a time, last night was in London with Shaykh Hisham been very busy replying right now to the Sufi Nikah service section on my site!
and i'm write and researching a book ' easy guide to sufism in simple english' with diagrams as well .! its the idiots guide made easy but dont like to use the word!
right now tell me reply to the Sufi Nikah sections and wait for your answers

link above i get brothers and sisters sending me their details and i then to connect them up ! most of the of people follow sufism is some of others have a Shaykh.
i have to reply to them! the way it works is the sister get a list of all the Brothers summary profile if they want more i send them details about them they will then send their profiles to the bros and from there they chat!

Yes there is few Shaykh here in the UK

Dr Irfan Al-Alawi - B'ham - student of Habib Manshur Haddad
has ijaza to give the Wird and Adhzars of Alawi's
Shaykh Abdal-'Aziz Ahmad - Alawi - Scotland
Shaykh Muhammad Yazadani - Qadiri who Teaches Fiqh as well as Tariqah and is my teacher

well there is the Darqawiyyah-Shadhiliyah you can contact some of them on

There are muqqadems and many fuqara of the shadzdzili/alawi/darqawi tariqa in the UK [and Europe], connected to Shaykh `Abda'l-Qadir as-Sufi [hafithahu'Llah]. Though our Shaykh is not presently resident here.
