Shaykh Hasan Cisse (radiaAllah anhu) was once asked about those who believed that Allah is not just present in his knowledge alone, but also in his Essence. he answered . "He is never absent as He has said in sura A'raf sura 7 ayat 6-7

007.006 Then shall we question those to whom Our message was sent and those by whom We sent it.

007.007 And verily, We shall recount their whole story with knowledge, for We were never absent

'This means Allah is never absent. some group will say this means in his knowledge. but you remember in school the teacher would call names in the morning. if you were there she checked 'present'. and if you were not she checked 'absent'.'

Allah has said in the ayat he is never absent.

"Secondly also in sura Waqiah when Allah is talking about one dying and we are looking on.

056.081 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem?

056.082 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false?

056.083 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,-

056.084 And ye the while (sit) looking on,-

056.085 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,

Seeing is a related action to an essence. not cognitive thought. you cannot see knowledge.

It's a high maqam to be humble and open minded about Allah's servants. It is better to see someone as a wali and in reality they are a hypocrite, rather than see someone as a hyprocrite but in reality they are a wali of Allah.-Shaykh Hasan Cisse
